Burglary Suspect Arrested

Thanks to a Facebook tip, Madison County Sheriff Deputies have made an arrest in connection with car burglaries at Battlefield Estates.

Acting on the tip, they found the suspect identified as Johnathan Walker,25, at the BP station on Route 25 where the arrest was made.

During a search of his vehicle deputies allegedly recovered a credit card that was taken from one of the car break-ins. That card was later used at Wal-Mart.

Johnathan Walker was charged with Operating On A Suspended License, Drug Paraphernalia, Receiving Stolen Property, Fraudulent Use Of A Credit Card and Theft By Unlawful Taking from an automobile.

Mr. Walker is lodged at the Madison County Detention Center. The investigation is ongoing.
