Wreck Closes I-64

A multi-car accident this morning closed I-64 at the Fayette-Clark County Line.

It happened at a work area where workers were patching the highway.Police say an elderly driver tried to merge with the traffic when he rear ended a truck. None of the drivers sustained serious injuries.

The highway was re-opened a short time after the accident.
