Lexington Man Shot Multiple Times

Police have made an arrest after a man was rushed to the hospital on Friday, suffering from multiple gunshots wounds.

Police say Anthony Wayne Crutcher fired the shots on Ballpark Drive in Lexington around 1:30 a.m. that struck the man. Officers say the 39-year-old victim was found on Paris Avenue.

Police say it appears someone helped the victim to the home before calling 911.

Court documents say the victim has known Crutcher for “an extended period of time.”  Crutcher has been charged with assault.

The victim was shot at least three times with bullets striking his back, abdomen and arm. He underwent surgery and was last listed in serious, but stable, condition.
