Richmond Man Wanted For 8 Months Arrested

A Richmond man wanted in connection with fraudulently obtaining prescription drugs was arrested Saturday.

Police say August 18,2014, Vancy James, 43, of Turpin Drive allegedly picked up three prescriptions that did not belong to him from the Kroger Pharmacy.

In September 2014, warrants were issued for James and an accomplice identified as Tina Brock,40,of Dixie Plaza. The arrest warrant was served on Brock, September 28, 2014.

Saturday police spotted James on East Main Street , he was arrested without incident.
