Domestic Disturbance Lands Richmond Man In Jail

In Richmond a domestic disturbance has landed Charles Kavanaugh behind bars.

Police say Sunday morning they heard a woman yelling for help and when they responded the woman told them Kavanaugh who is her boyfriend, was chocking her and would not let her leave the room. Police say he also tried to flip a mattress a two year old child was sleeping on.

During the arrest the suspect threatened to kill the arresting officer.

He is lodged at the Madison County Detention Center where he is charged with unlawful imprisonment, assault,
wanton endangerment, resisting arrest, terroristic threatening and disorderly conduct.
