Richmond Woman Charged with Assault

A Richmond woman is charged with assault after a domestic dispute with her boyfriend.

Police were called to the 700 block of E. Irvine Street Sunday night. The victim told police Crystal Bramblett, 42, grabbed a hot iron and pressed it against his neck and left a large burn mark. When the victim left home on foot, Bramblett caught up with him and tore his shirt.

Police arrested Bramblett at her home.

The victim declined medical treatment.
