Estill County Woman Run Over By Truck

An Estill County woman is in stable condition after she was run over by a truck.

Police say Lois Townsend was trying to push a broken down truck when it started rolling. Townsend grabbed the steering wheel but fell beneath the rolling vehicle. The truck rolled over her left side.

Townsend was transported by Estill County EMS to the UK medical center.

The accident remains under investigation.
