Funeral Arrangements Set for Hunter Montgomery
Funeral arrangements are set for Hunter Montgomery the son of country singer and Kentucky native Eddie Montgomery.
The 19-year-old died Sunday at the University of Kentucky Hospital after being taken off life-support.
The visitation and funeral for Montgomery will take place Thursday, at Southland Christian Church on Harrodsburg Road. The visitation is at 11 a.m. The funeral will follow at 3 p.m.

it is a tragic time for this family and even those who know them…. When you see a family member or friend suffer a loss, it effects even them….!for me, it brings back some memories of when my nephew tragically passed in 2007 @ just the age of 23….this family is an awesome unit. They’re just like you & me…. We are all human….some struggles are harder for others, it doesn’t make anyone less important or loved…. I pray that others be respectful during each and every opportunity when they speak of this young man, & to or about his family… Their lives is forever changed.
His life & death will impact those who knew him, as well as, those who knows the family forevermore.
Respect their privacy, don’t assume & don’t pry… Remember to always pray when YA don’t know what else to do… God hears all prayers….

I don’t know what I would do if I was in your place right now. So I’ll do what I can do and that is to pray for all of you. I’m sure Hunter was a wonder son, nephew, friend, and grandson. I only know a few of you, and you know who you are. I pray God comforts each and everyone of you in this young mans life.
