Morning Accident Injures Three

The Madison County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an injury collision that occurred around 6:34 a.m. on Boonesboro Road in Madison County.

According to the Madison Co. Sheriff, 44-year-old Raymond Reed of Annville was driving a 2015 Hinkle Holdings Company truck north on Boonesboro Road.  The Sheriff says Reed crossed the center line and collided head-on with a 2001 Oldsmobile mini-van driven by 67-year-old Carson Hansel of Winchester.

Reed was taken to UK Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. Hansel was also taken to UK Medical Center and sustained serious injuries. 46-year-old James Hall from Mt. Sterling, a passenger with Hansel, was taken to UK Medical Center as well with non-life threatening injuries.

The collision remains under investigation.
