The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet today announced that Clark County will receive $41,600 in Municipal Road Aid emergency funds.
The money will be used for a drainage structure on Grimes Mill Road (CR 1217) located one mile south of KY 418 over an unnamed creek. This will make the road safer for cars, school buses and other vehicles that rely upon the roadway.
“These emergency funds are being used to repair roadways and to improve safety and mobility in Clark County,” said Acting Transportation Secretary Mike Hancock. “This project is one example of the cabinet’s commitment to providing a solid infrastructure in Clark County and all across the Commonwealth.”
Clark County is responsible for administering the work.
