Assault/Unlawful Imprisonment Arrest

Sunday Richmond Police charged Patrick M. Randolph, 39, Raintree Drive, for several offenses after responding to a domestic disturbance.
At approximately 10:25 A.M., officers were dispatched to a residence on Raintree Drive in response to a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, officers met with Randolph’s spouse who reported that Randolph was armed with a rifle and had attempted to shoot himself. He also prevented numerous attempts by his spouse to leave the residence before she finally managed to escape and contact police.
Randolph initially refused to exit his residence when directed to do so by police. After approximately two hours, Randolph exited the residence unarmed and was taken into custody by officers.
Randolph was charged for the following offenses and lodged in the MCDC:
Assault 4th Degree
Unlawful Imprisonment 2nd Degree
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (marijuana pipe recovered from his person)
