Madison Co. inmates relocated due to overcrowding

Overcrowding continues to be a problem at the Madison County Detention Center. Judge executive Reagan Taylor told county magistrates that the state has been asked to remove some of the state prisoners housed there because the space was needed for county prisoners who could not be sent to other counties’ jails.
