Powell County Deputy Involved In Shooting

Kentucky State Police have confirmed they are investigating a shooting in Powell Co. that involved a Powell County Sheriff Deputy.

According to the Sheriff, the male victim was shot in the chest but was able to walk himself to the helicopter to be airlifted to a hospital

Investigators say the shooting happened following a pursuit on Coppers Creek Road that ended in the back corner of a field.
