Police Search For Madison County Inmate

State Police say an inmate walked away from the Bluegrass Career Development Center in Richmond Tuesday afternoon.

Investigators say 40-year old Jeremy D. Stone, of Clay, escaped from the minimum-security facility on Recycle Drive around 2:00 p.m.

He is described as 6’2″ tall, 175-pounds with hazel eyes and a goatee.

State Police say Stone was in jail serving a sentence for Theft by Unlawful Taking, Burglary 1st Degree, Burglary 3rd Degree, Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st Offense and Theft of a Firearm.

Anyone with information is asked to call their local law enforcement agency or KSP Post 7 in Richmond at 859-623-2404.
