Two Arrested On Drug Charges

Two are behind bars after police were called to Ellis Court Tuesday morning to investigate alleged drug activity.

Richmond Police found Tyler McKeehan, 22, exiting the residence and during a search found methamphetamine , heroin, money and a handgun. During the investigation police also arrested Barbara McKeehan, 61, after they found methamphetamine in a Ziploc Bag and a bag containing Gabpentin concealed in her purse.

Tyler McKeehan was charged with first offense first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (less than 2 grams of methamphetamine), first offense first-degree possession of a controlled substance (heroin) and carrying a concealed weapon.

Barbara McKeehan was charged with first offense first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), and illegal possession of a legend drug.

Both are lodged at the Madison County Detention Center.
