Update: Body Found in Berea

Police in Berea say they have found the body of a man near the railroad tracks by Lester Street and Broadway.

Officers say they received a call just after 8:30 a.m. Thursday morning from a CSX train employee who saw the body.

Investigators say the victim is a man who appears to be in his 20’s.  According to officers on the scene, the man was from Berea.

Police say they believe he may have been hit by a train.

The Madison County Coroner is on the scene.
