Truck Crashes Irvine Shell Mart

Shortly after 3p.m.Monday Estill County Emergency crews were called to the Shell Mart on Highway 52 after a truck backed into the building shattering the front plate glass.

 According to a witness the elderly driver might have been confused and accidentally put the vehicle in reverse instead of drive.

The building also houses the Subway Shop.

No injuries were reported
