Estill Teen Fighting Leukemia Guest DJ For The Day
It was a busy and exciting time for For Arron Stamper, the Estill County teen that is fighting leukemia. Yesterday there was a parade past his house and bikers got together to show their support. Today he was guest DJ on V99.3 FM and WIRV AM:
“I was kind of nervous to be honest. I had these butterflies in my stomach because I didn’t know how many people are listening, but I did really good,” said Aaron Stamper.
His only wish for His 16th birthday was a mailbox full of cards, that wish come true, not a mail box full but 11,000 cars were received with more on their way.
“It was the best birthday, definitely, the best birthday ever,” Aaron said.
Stamper has received cards from all over the world. How many cards? A pod storage company in Lexington is donating a pod for all of the cards. There are so many cards, he and his family can’t walk in their living room.
