Officer Ellis Murder Trial Delayed By A Year

The trial of Raleigh Sizemore and Gregory Ratliff the two men charged in the shooting death of Richmond Police Officer Daniel Ellis will not go to trial for more than a year.

Sizemore is accused of killing Officer Ellis, in Ratliff’ apartment in November 2015. The trial was originally scheduled for July 8th of this year and has now been moved to July of 2018.

The defense says it wants more time to analyze the evidence. The prosecution says it has no objection.
