Rowan County Man Turns Himself In After Deadly Shooting

Kentucky State Police in Morehead, Kentucky, says that Randy Parmley, 40, walked into their post and turned himself in for the shooting death of Kenneth Fulton, 42, of Leaning Tree Lane, west of Morehead.

Police say the shooting took place Monday morning after Parmley confronted his wife, Sandy Parmley, as to why she was at Fulton’s home.

The shooting was called in at about 12:30 a.m..

Fulton was rushed to St. Claire Regional Medical Center and pronounced dead around 1:15 a.m.

Parmley told troopers a fight broke out and that Fulton threatened his life. Parmley admitted he shot Fulton twice.

Parmley is now charged with murder and is lodged at the Rowan County Detention Center.
