Richmond Witness Wanted

The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a suspected assault that left a mother seriously hurt and deputies looking for a possible witness from Richmond.

Investigators say 27-year old Mary Creech, of London, was found unresponsive by her children off of Long Branch Road Sunday night.

She eventually was airlifted to UK Hospital in Lexington with what deputies called a severe, life-threatening neck injury.

Investigators are trying to find a man who they say is a possible witness identified as Jason Scrivner, of Richmond.
