12 Year Old And Stepfather Plot To Kill Grandparents

Thanks to a tip, Boyle County detectives intercepted a plot to kill.

Police say a 12 year old and his stepfather Kenneth Brown, were plotting to kill the 12 year old’s grandparents.

Saturday, deputies went to the home and interviewed the boy and his family at which time the boy admitted to the plot. He was taken into custody and charged with conspiracy to commit murder and placed in a juvenile detention center’

During an interview with detectives the boy, who lives with his grandparents, admitted the plot to kill his biological grandparents also involved his step father. The boy told detectives the step father was actually going to commit the murders and that he was going to help him gain access to their home.

Police have arrested Brown and charged him with conspiracy to commit murder.

According to detectives the decision whether or not to prosecute the 12-year-old as an adult will be up to the county attorney.
