Northbound I-75 lanes reopen after early morning Madison Co. crash

At least one person has been hospitalized following a crash in Madison County.

The Sheriff’s Office says it happened on I-75 northbound near the Clays Ferry Bridge exit.

Deputies say an SUV and a truck hauling a livestock trailer collided.

Fortunately, the livestock trailer did not have animals in it.

The person taken to the hospital had minor injuries.

The crash happened at around 1:00 a.m. and shut down that part of I-75 for almost two hours.
