Lt. Gov., AG, attend Law Enforcement Memorial Service in Richmond

On Tuesday, three Kentucky law enforcement officers who lost their lives in the line of duty were honored at the Kentucky Law Enforcement Memorial ceremony at the memorial monument site in Richmond.

Lieutenant Governor Jenean Hampton and Attorney General Andy Beshear attended the event, with Hampton serving as a keynote speaker.  Kentucky Justice and Public Safety Cabinet Secretary John Tilley and Randy Chrisman, father of 2015 fallen Kentucky State Police Trooper Eric Chrisman, also spoke.

Versailles Police Officer George Freeman, Oldham County Police Officer Charles D. Howley and Bell County Sheriff’s Deputy Frank Bowman were honored among their family, friends and comrades. Kentucky experienced no line-of-duty deaths in 2016.
