Dispute Ends With Stanford Man Shooting His Wife

A Powell County man is behind bars after shooting his wife in the back.

It happened last night in Stanford where police report Gary Morrison shot his wife after she threatened to place him in a psychiatric hospital.

He is charged with first degree assault.

Her condition is unknown
