Irvine Man Arrested For Child Rape

An Irvine man is behind bars facing multiple charges involving a minor.

Yesterday Madison County Sheriff Deputies arrested James R. Hiatt of Irvine for Rape 1st Degree, Sodomy 1st Degree and Sexual Abuse 1st Degree of a minor 12 years of age.

According to the press release the investigation stems from an investigation and allegations of sexual abuse in a one year period from May of 2014 to present.

The case is being investigated by Detective Todd Allen.

Hiatt remains lodged at the Madison County Detention Center.
