Madison County Sustains Storm Damage

The storms that moved through Madison County yesterday left trees down, roofs ripped and a path of damage.

Kirksville resident JC Benton says debris was everywhere.

“We’ve got trees down all over the place,” JC Benton said, “when I got down here, well, you couldn’t see the road.”

At least two homes were damaged by fallen trees. The storm also ripped a roof completely off a barn on Curtis Pike in Kirksville. Debris was left scattered against many roads and yards in Kirksville.

Although there was damage, debris and downed trees, there were no reports of anyone injured.
