Richmond Attorney Hit By Car

A Richmond attorney and school board member was hit by a car Wednesday as he crossed at the intersection of Main Street and Second Street.

John Lackey, 73, was in the crosswalk when a Chevrolet HHR driven by Dustin Ratliff, 24, hit him. Ratliff told police he didn’t see the pedestrian. Lackey suffered lacerations to his head and was transported to UK Medical Center but officers were told his injury did not appear serious and that he would likely be released.
