Katie Ellis Thanks Richmond

During last night’s Madison County School Board meeting Katie Ellis the wife of slain police officer Daniel Ellis thanked everyone for their support.

Ellis is assistant principal at Madison Central High School.  she told the board the support she has received from her city has been nothing short of amazing.

“I want to express my sincerest gratitude to everyone for all that you have done for me and my family,” said Katie Ellis.

Ellis called Richmond a shining light during this dark time in her life, and challenged its people to show their kindness to others.
