Thieves Target Madison Business

Early this morning thieves used their own truck to smash through a fence in order to steal a truck at Central Kentucky Truck and Trailer Sales just off I-95 in Madison County.

Owner Timothy Cook says the thieves were there for about seven minutes. “They stole a ’05 Dodge, white, it had the big heavy bumpers, the ranch hand bumpers on the front, had a big exhaust, real loud truck. One of those you drive through the neighborhood, you wake up everybody, it’s easily recognizable,” he said. “About five minutes after they pulled out the Madison County sheriff was here, just narrowly missed them.”
Deputies are still trying to pick up their trail.
