Richmond Man Allegedly Rips Off His Relative

Wednesday Richmond Police arrested Steven Sowers, 32, of N. Estill Avenue in connection with thefts dating back to September of last year.

Police say Sowers allegedly stole about $3100 worth of firearms, jewelry appliances and tools from a relative on three different occasions starting in September and continuing through November last year.

Officers were able to recover property valued at about $1500

He is charged with:
Theft By Unlawful Taking- Firearm two counts
Theft By Unlawful Taking Under $500- Two Counts
Theft By Deception Under $500- Four Counts
Theft By Unlawful Taking Under $10,000- Controlled Substance
Sowers was taken into custody and lodged in the Madison County Detention Center.
