EKU Adds Extra Police

EKU Officials have added additional police on campus after a threat was found in a restroom at the Combs building.

The threat of gun violence to the University community cited the event for today and University officials are taking the threat seriously. There will be added patrols at both the basketball game against Morehead State University and the Alton Brown Live performance at the EKU Center for the Arts.

The university isn’t penalizing teachers or students who don’t show up to class. In fact, campus leaders are encouraging them to complete assignments online or off campus when possible.
