The body of a missing Cincinnati man was found Wednesday in a pickup truck, submerged in 12-feet of water in Lake Cumberland, according to the Russell County sheriff.

Investigators say 60-year old Ronald Marshall, was reported missing on November 15, 2016. His family had not heard from him since November 12, 2016.

A ground and air search began on Tuesday and continued Wednesday, focusing on the Dudley Hill Boat Ramp area, which is less than a mile from the Marshall family’s part-time residence, according to investigators.

A large object, believed to be a vehicle, was detected Wednesday by special equipment utilized by a commercial fishing guide. A short time later, divers with the Somerset-Pulaski County Rescue Squad found Marshall’s 2012 Ford F-250 pickup truck in 12-feet of water, approximately 30 feet from the lake’s bank.

Investigators hope an autopsy at the State Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the cause and manner of Marshall’s death.

The case is still under investigation.
