Winchester Fire Victim Identified

In Winchester the victim of a house fire yesterday morning has been identified as 85-year old Lilly Strange. She died of smoke inhalation

Neighbors say they heard an explosion right before the fire.

Neighbor David Lutes told investigators the fire spread quickly. The house was two thirds engulfed when firefighters arrived at the scene.

Strange lived in the Navajo Trail home with her daughter but was alone at the time of the fire.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
