One Man Seriously Injured – One Jailed In Madison Shooting
An early morning shooting in Madison County has landed one man in jail and one man hospitalized with serious injuries.
At about 3 a.m. Kentucky Sate Police were called to a home on Moran Summit Road, where they found Phillip “Chris” Sanders suffering from a serious gunshot wound. He was rushed to UK Medical Center.
At about 8:30 a.m. police stopped a vehicle on the bypass in connection with the shooting. Two people in the vehicle were transported to State Police Post 7 for questioning.
Police have now charged Patrick A. Coleman Jr., 54, with first-degree assault and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
