Pedestrian Killed On I-75

Sunday night, a man identified as Charles Gilbert, 20, was killed after getting hit by a semi while walking along I-75.

Investigators think Gilbert was walking parallel to the slow lane when he was hit by a southbound semi near mile marker 87 in Richmond.

The southbound lanes were closed for several hours.

Officials do not know why Gilbert was walking along the interstate.
